Php on Microsof Server?

Microsoft is offering free hosting and a free domain to go with it so i was thinking about getting one but do their servers support php and if they do how would u install it on their through their interface?

Or you could try to download the installer for the latast version of PHP 5 and install it for MS IIS (I don%26#039;t know realy how to do it since I hate everything what has to do with Microsoft and Bill Gates).



If you deside to use something else then IIS like for example Apache, then you will have to remove IIS to make port 80 avaible for other webservers, you can do this by opening the controllpanel, Add/Remove Programs, Add/Remove Windows Components, and then uncheck %26quot;Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)%26quot; and then click ok. Otherwhise you will get the same problem while starting the webserver as my class (when running Apache on Win 2003 Server without removing IIS before... XD.. lol )

no, Currently Microsoft servers do not have PHP enabled, they currently only support: ASP, and ACCESS.



to have access to PHP you need command line root access and install apache and PHP5.0
